About this Event

This affinity space for girls and women of color includes a day of collective and community care filled with team-building, mindfulness, cultivating joy, and freedom dreaming! We’ll have fun reminding ourselves that there are no limits to how high we can climb, especially if we remember to lift as we rise! Space is limited. Register today!

This year’s event is also a fundraiser! 50% of your purchase price will be directed to our Youth Justice Fund. That means you get to enjoy a fun time climbing to new heights while supporting Code Switch girls as they do the same! So, even if you can not attend, please consider donating, and help our girls lead change for racial justice through youth-led programming! Code Switch is a 501c3 nonprofit.

About the Youth Justice Fund

The Youth Justice Fund is a newly established fund to be managed by our Youth Advisory Board. It will be used to support youth-led programming, including providing education mini-grants to Youth of Color in the Las Vegas area, establishing a website run by girls to advocate for criminal justice reform, as well as supporting the launch of the Rose from Concrete Mentorship Program. Founded and managed by youth leader, Ms. Naika Belizaire, the Rose from Concrete Mentorship program provides peer mentors (young women of color in high school) for girls of color in elementary school. Peer mentors facilitate activities meant to help mentees develop a strong self-concept and positive outlook for their future. Mentorship activities will also include providing academic tutoring, life goal setting assistance, and opportunities to participate in mentored outings, like this one, along with community service projects.
