CODE SWITCH JOB BOARD

Code Switch: Restorative Justice for Girls of Color (Code Switch) is actively seeking applications for its Executive Advisory Board (EAB).  We take a unique approach to board leadership.  Our advisory board members champion the importance of exceptional board leadership and believe that every organization needs a strong and effective board to fully realize its potential for good.  Therefore, we are seeking individuals who are energetic and passionate about advancing girls’ rights by advancing critical mentorship and youth leadership development, as well as healing and restorative justice. We are especially seeking women with a legal, social work, counseling, marketing, and/or finance/accounting background.

Code Switch is committed to establishing an Executive Advisory Board that is reflective of the diverse communities we serve.  As an equal opportunity organization with a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ), we will proudly consider all qualified applicants.  Black and other Women of Color committed to racial justice and gender equity for Black girls and experience serving on nonprofit boards are especially encouraged to apply.

The Code Switch Volunteers program is a new initiative to help give high school girls, young women and gender expansive youth hands-on experience working with a non-profit. Through this experience, they will learn the inner-workings of how non-profits function, restorative justice practices used, and find meaningful ways to give back to the community. This initiative is part of Code Switch’s mission to create a youth-led organization and community. The CS volunteer program will run from September 2024 to May 2025.
