What We Do

Together, we work to develop a deeper awareness of self. We participate in intergenerational mentored experiences with our peers, women of color, and racial justice allies committed to our success. We apply what we learn to increase our cultural and racial knowledge, and learn how to advance girls’ rights. Through youth participatory action research, critical mentorship, and a unique brand of culturally and historically responsive, restorative justice practices, we learn to tap into our power to make our schools, families, and communities more equitable and just. If you are a self-identified empowered Black girl, young woman, or gender expansive youth of color, we invite you to join our sisterhood. You can join in two ways. Apply now to become a member and hone your leadership skills while taking advantage of all of the benefits that comes from joining a sisterhood like ours or join as a mentee and consider membership once involved with our mentee community. Someone will reach out once you submit your mentee or membership application. There is no fee to become a mentee, however, the fee to become a member is $36 per year. Flexible payment options available.
