Code Switch is disrupting Black girl pushout, expanding pathways to racial healing, and creating a more just and equitable world through mentorship and restorative justice education!

Although we are a young organization, in one year’s time we have made an impact in our core program areas of youth led advocacy and restorative justice. Here are some of our accomplishments…

  • Hosted 5 restorative justice courses

  • Provided 76 hours of professional development and coaching

  • Established allied partnerships with 2 local universities

  • Co-sponsored 6 community-engaged youth-centered and/or led justice forums

  • Expanded restorative justice community alliances to include local and national partners

  • Leveraging university-community partnerships to bring restorative circles for girls into up to 10 middle schools in Fall 2022

IMPACT OF OUR YOUTH ADVOCACY WORK

  • Hosted successful Virtual Youth of Color Mentorship Summit offering 10 sessions focused on anti-racism, critical mentorship, and restorative justice with 103 attendees from 6 states

  • Provided 97 youth and women with trauma informed and healing support during COVID quarantines, as part of an 8-session restorative circle series titled, ‘Love is Healing’
