RESTORATIVE JUSTICE COURSES & WORKSHOPS

RESTORATIVE JUSTICE COURSES & WORKSHOPS

We provide courses and workshops for the public, as well as personalized consulting contracts for education and youth-serving organizations interested in a culturally-responsive approach to restorative justice education. We also provide 1-1 consulting and coaching for educators.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR JUSTICE

All fees and proceeds collected for our courses and workshops help fund the people, programs, and material resources that power our mission. We like to say that our work in restorative justice education comprises ‘professional development for social change and justice’! Want to help us advance girl’s rights? Sign up for a course, professional development experience, or coaching session today!

ABOUT OUR COURSES

Our courses and workshops are designed for educators, youth-serving practitioners, folx who parent and care for young adults, and individuals interested in learning more about the principles and practices shaping restorative justice education. Facilitated by team members with a background in education, anti-racist and culturally responsive pedagogies, and healing/trauma informed practices, sessions are experiential in nature and feature circle processes, interactive healing exercises, conflict conferencing, role-plays & small group discussions. Attendees leave with a deeper understanding of how restorative justice education can be leveraged as anti-racist, culturally and historically relevant, and trauma-informed practice. The importance of racial healing and developing cultural humility are also explored. Costs vary. Certificates of completion are issued for those who meet all course requirements. We are a Nevada Department of Education approved PD provider.

PEOPLE ARE TALKING

“I went to the Code Switch Restorative Justice training, and I loved it. I learned so much not just about Restorative Justice, but myself and my co-workers through the process. Not only do I use the strategies I learned with youth in schools, I also use them with my department. Since this training we have started to run all of our team meetings as community circles, and it has really changed the culture of our department.”

Shelby Henderson, Director of Education Services, Boys Town Nevada
